Counting syllables. Practicing rhyming. Word meanings. A recent, impromptu language arts lesson:

Trumpty Dumpty bragged on a wall,
Ranting at rallies, on Twitter, and all.
All of his lackeys and fam and yes men
Couldn't keep Trumpty from acting insane.
